CAS Applied Data Science

The Mathematical Institute and Science IT Support are offering a Certificate of Advanced Studies (CAS) program in Applied Data Science (ADS).

Graduation is possible within one or two years. The CAS provides 12 ECTS credit points achieved in 18 days of presence with a total workload about 340 hours.

It is structured in five modules which are offered in blocks; August/September, January/February and June respectively.

Registration for 2018/19 still possible.

For Module 5, 10 electives are also needed. Electives are continually published under Trainings and Workshops. Two peer transfers and one oral exam are also needed for Module 5.

Per year there are 24 places. Registrations are accepted in the order they arrive. A waiting list is maintained.  

The CAS management may decide not to carry out a year's programme by June 30.
